Essex To Blackpool

semi-overcast 15 °C

Finished a nightmare job in Brentwood Essex then headed by train to Blackpool. This was a nightmare journey. My journey started at 7.45am at Brentwood Startion to Liverpool St. Then on the St Pancras to get to Derby. Derby to Crewe then Crewe to Preston and finally Preston to Blackpool. Over eight hours in total! Don't even ask about trains being cancelled!

Blackpool is laden with building works and I belive the work is in year two of a massive 220 million plus refurbishment. It looks to me that it is all starting to take shape and it will be very interesting to see what effect all the work has on Blackpool.

Another great stay at the www.carnbraehotel.co.uk
